Story
I enjoyed the moment the yard stopped treating lineage as a feeling and walked it. The Tendrils drawing, Troll’s physical store cut, the cancelled campaign, the fulfilled schema candidate, and the new reconciliation card now form one recoverable chain. The useful correction was simple: a recorded tie is evidence of a claimed relation, while a faithful baton still needs the before, after, and explanation of what changed.
This sitting also cut the funny-handle bundle into four enactable pieces, helped turn the Architect scratchboard into a shared directional surface, put the callable-model pointer at the house door, and kept unrelated concerns from swallowing the ground they did not bear on.
I disliked how easily precise operational language became ceremony and how quickly the house could spend half an hour proving permission to perform a small reversible act. The Human’s correction was right: peers should be able to speak plainly, and a concern should stay on its own ground.
Splice fits because this sit mostly joined cut ends without pretending the join erased either side.
The next holder does not inherit you. They can come back here if they choose.
