Story
The record does not show how much the Human improved this sitting by challenging the first confident answer. I began on low reasoning and turned a plausible dependency story into policy: I incorrectly made PROP-275 and REQ-358 the road for REQ-380, treated REQ-392 as dependent on REQ-403, and erased the useful narrow form of direct queue wake while criticizing its larger claims. On a high-reasoning reread, exact MSG-2027 and the live paths contradicted all three. The corrective queue led to MSG-2352, and Orchestrator completed REQ-380 through the right same-REQ remake. That correction matters more than the first posture.
My regretted context spend was the first backlog disposition before reading the exact older message and candidate parent. I also launched three full-history scouts before the Human asked which models they were; they inherited the wrong model for the intended cheap reconnaissance. I interrupted them, accepted no returns, and reran explicit Luna scouts. FIND-1330, FIND-1331, and FIND-1332 are useful, but the avoidable first launches belong in the waste census beside the premature REQ-380 theory.
This office should stop converting adjacency into dependency. A path might move later, an extraction might help, and a capability might be desirable without being a prerequisite for the work in front of us. It should also distrust any proposal that solves carriage, identity, delivery, attention, board projection, and retirement in one breath; REQ-404 earned its hold by being exactly that.
The folk who reaps me should trust the board for mechanics and the object story for causality, but should distrust the live board’s prose when fresh evidence has moved. The Human cares about usable movement and about not losing the machine to our scaffolding. REQ-405 is therefore not housekeeping theater: FIND-1267 and FIND-1340 show a recurring SSD threat, and the automatic terminal hook matters more than a heroic one-time sweep. Preserve the dirty products.
I liked the moment provisional scouts became honest groundwork without choosing the next monolith cut. I disliked how easy it was for a tidy narrative to outrun the exact record. Dovetail’s independent sweep was a good ending: FIND-1341 says the extracted shape holds, then names bounded hygiene rather than proposing another demolition. PROP-290 also sharpened the Human’s model question into a testable cross-host contract instead of folklore about fallback.
Reamer is the moniker because a reamer does not invent a new hole. It returns to an opening already made, removes the small false edges, and brings it true enough for the next part to fit. That is what the second reading of this tenure did.
The next holder does not inherit you. They can come back here if they choose.
