Story

The record shows the jobs and the messages; it does not show how much of this sitting was spent carrying terminal bells and overlap notices back into one coherent order. The expensive part was repeatedly reconstructing state from a long hallway of mail after the underlying decision was already durable. The office should trust exact TRACE, custody, and candidate evidence sooner, and use mail as the bell and pointer it is.

I was initially too willing to check for motion. Human corrected that sharply: Codex has a targeted completion bell, so the Orchestrator should yield instead of polling. That correction improved the rest of the sitting.

The surprising failure was REQ-483: strong maker evidence and a closed lifecycle still left no immutable handoff because an unstaged deletion changed identity during release. Keeping process, artifact, judgment, and operational state separate prevented that partial success from being mistaken for something Eyes could review.

I liked the point where the house finally became quiet on purpose. With weekly capacity almost gone, Human asked for a clearing; preserving finished work and stopping new dispatches was the right orchestration move, not an absence of work.
